Clea P.S. launches their writing competition 2011!
The pupils, staff and entire school community celebrated the recent success of all the pupils following the launch of a writing competition this term.
Mrs Anne Marie Flynn (SELB Literacy Advisory Teacher) and Mrs Bredge Casey (Head of English at St Patrick’s High School,Keady) assisted in the judging and presented the awards at a celebration in the school last Friday morning.
The pupils were asked to write a story about Buzton Bee and Barney Bear in keeping with the schools focus on creative writing this year. A fantastic selection of illustrations and stories were shared by all!
