Today the boys and girls in P2/3 had a fantastic time in Ballybay Central School as we were welcomed back to spend the day with them working on our STEM education in the outdoors. We enjoyed the Spring sunshine as we took a group walk to study some bridges in the local area. We then came back and worked together in teams to build our own bridges. We planned, built and critiqued our own efforts, identifying problems that arose and that needed to be addressed during the project. So much learning and fun went on. Today was not just about building bridges but building long lasting friendships with our Shared Education partners.
