To celebrate ‘Mental Health Awareness Week’ and in keeping with this year’s theme of ‘Nature’ some of our Primary 5 children, along with school council members, joined up with our Primary 1 students for an outdoor reading session. All books chosen reflected aspects of mental health and opened conversations between the children about their feelings and identifying the feelings that others may be having. To further develop the contribution the outdoors can have on our mental health the children made some fabulous bird feeders. We will be keeping our eyes open for any little visitors in the coming days! 🌈🌱🌳🌻🌏🌈
