Mummified apples in P4/5 ðŸŽðŸ§ªðŸ§‘ðŸ»ðŸ‘±ðŸ»â€â™€ï¸

P4/5 had a busy morning examining the findings of their week-long experiment. Having placed their apple slices to ‘mummify’ in a controlled place last week everyone was patiently waiting to see what the most effective preservative would be. Everyone thoroughly examined and compared all of their apple slices for colour, size and texture. The two preservatives that were most effective were found to be the same as those used in real mummification processes in Ancient Egypt. We really enjoyed being scientists and historians this week! ðŸŽðŸ§ªðŸ‘±ðŸ»â™€ï¸ðŸ§‘ðŸ»
