To celebrate the Chinese New Year the P4/5 children have been having lots of fun in class learning all about Chinese culture and traditions. The children enjoyed listening to the story of the Chinese Zodiac animals, finding out what animal they are, writing their names in Chinese, learning about the different celebrations taking place across the globe and finally having our own Chinese New Year party tasting some delicious Chinese food using chopsticks. All of the children enjoyed this and we look forward to making this an annual celebration in our school. 🇨🇳 ðŸ€
