Last week P2/3 were delighted to welcome back our friends from Ballybay Central N/S to join us in our STEM workshops in the Tommy Makem Centre Keady. Through practical experiements, predictions and fair testing we were able to find out a lot about floating and sinking as well as the effect of water on ink. Some of our findings were very surprising. We even cheered on as Ms O’Hare and Mrs Patton built their own boats to test how many marbles that they could hold while floating. We look forward to our next meeting in term 3!
